Biography
Prof. Dr. Alireza Heidari, Ph.D., D.Sc. is a Full Distinguished Professor and Academic Tenure of Chemistry and also Enrico Fermi Distinguished Chair in Molecular Spectroscopy at California South University (CSU), Irvine, California, USA. He has got his Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees from California South University (CSU), Irvine, California, USA. Furthermore, he has double postdocs in Project Management, Oncology, Human Cancer Tissues and Synchrotron Radiation from Monash University, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and also in Nanochemistry and Modern Molecular Electronic–Structure Computations Theory from California South University (CSU), Irvine, California, USA. Biography
Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has already been working as professor. He published over 50 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last four years (2014 - 2018) over 50 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by South Asian Institute of Science and Engineering (SAISE).
Research Interest
Shape memory effect and displacive phase transformations in shape memory alloys and other alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction and crystallography.
Biography
Prof. Ki-Hyun Kim was at Florida State University for an M.S. (1984-1986) and at University of South Florida for a Ph.D. (1988-1992). He was a Research Associate at ORNL, USA (1992 to 1994). He moved to Sang Ji University, Korea in 1995. In 1999, he joined Sejong University. In 2014, he moved to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Hanyang University. His research areas broadly cover the various aspects in the field of “Air Quality & Material Engineering†in connection with advanced novel materials like Coordination Polymers. He was awarded as one of the top 10 National Star Faculties in Korea in 2006. He is a serving editorial board member of several journals (e.g., Environmental Research, Atmospheric Pollution Research, and Sensors). He has published more than 500 articles, many of which are in leading scientific journals like ‘Chemical Society Reviews’, ‘Progress in Material Science’, ‘Progress in Polymer Science’, ‘Coordination Chemistry Reviews’, and ‘Trends in Analytical Chemistry’.
Research Interest
-Development and establishment of detection methods for environmental pollutants (VOCs and heavy metals) along with the establishment of basic QA for those pollutants. -Development and performance evaluation of diverse sorbent materials for thermal desorption of VOCs. -Sorptive removal and regeneration cycle in the treatment of environmental pollutants with metal organic frameworks and metal oxides
