Biography
Jun Akedo received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Waseda University, Japan, in 1984 and 1990, respectively., From 1989 to 1992, he worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Applied Physics, Waseda University. He joined the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, AIST-MITI, Tsukuba, Japan, in 1992. In 2001, he was the Research Leader of the Integration Process Technology Research Group, Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). From 2002 to 2006, he was the Project Leader of Nano Structure Forming for Advanced Ceramic Integration Technology. His research field is ferroelectric materials and ferromagnetic materials, and their application to microdevices.
